Bert Thomas has been on staff at Meadowbrook since 1999. During that time, his duties have been Meadowbrook Athletic Director and has also served as Men’s Director for the church. Bert has been married to his wife Pam for 38 years, together they have 4 daughters who have all been collegiate scholarship athletes in the sport of volleyball. Bert Has now been coaching Highschool sports and travel volleyball for 31 years. Bert’s coaching philosophy is to “Work hard in practice and have fun in games.”
Romans 12:17-18; “Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone.
If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.”

I originally began coaching in Indiana where I grew up and learned about the game. I have coached a lot of sports from little league level to varsity level. I began a rewarding career as a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in 2004. Working in a variety of settings, serving a diverse patient population, I specialize in geriatric rehabilitation, pain management, strength training, and improving balance and coordination. I played softball since I was a young child and I developed a love for the clay and a love for the game. I played on a traveling team throughout Middle and High School in addition to playing for the school. After graduation, I played on several co-ed leagues until I married. 2023 was my first year coaching at MBA. Moto: Repetition creates a habit, and good habits lead to success.
