The Mustangs battled a hard hitting Hernando Christian team on Thursday and though losing tight sets in three straight, Mia Lewis had her best game of the season at Libero.
Season Best For Libero #10 Mia Lewis
Of 57 total digs for the Mustang’s, Lewis had more than half, at 24. The Mustang’s successfully returned 53 serves and of those, Mia had 21 and contributed just 1 ball handling error on the night.
While it is tough to take three set losses, the Mustang’s are a young team getting great performances from growing players like standout Freshmen Mia Lewis at Libero, Elizabeth Marshall at Outside Hitter and Izzy and Iva Fearon when in service.
The future is bright for Mustang volleyball!
